Illumio appoints L David Kingsley as Chief People Officer

The Zero Trust Segmentation company, Illumio has appointed L David Kingsley as Chief People Officer.

As Chief People Officer, Kingsley is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Illumio’s human resources, including global strategy, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, team engagement, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

CEO and co-founder of Illumio, Andrew Rubin, expressed his optimism about Kingsley’s appointment, saying, “Illumio’s rapid growth and contributions to our customers’ cyber resilience are only made possible by the diverse team of employees who strive for excellence and operate with integrity each day.”

“David’s experience scaling global organizations and cultivating culture will prove invaluable as we build upon the great employee experience we have today”, Andrew Rubin said.

Andrew Rubin further said, “I look forward to partnering with him as we write the next chapter of our Illumio story together”

He brings over 20 years of experience building motivated, highly engaged teams and helping companies develop and refine value-driven programs.

Prior to Illumio, Kingsley served as Chief People Officer at Intercom, Alteryx, and Vlocity, where he helped to scale the company.

Previously, he served in leadership roles at MuleSoft, Salesforce, Accenture, and Booz Allen. He also serves on the board of directors at Nivati.

David holds an M.A. in Organizational Sciences from George Washington University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Catholic University. He is a retired Lieutenant from the U.S. Navy Reserve.
