JSW Steel Limited has appointed Priya Ranjan Kumar as its Vice President-HR. Prior to this, he was associated with Viraj Profiles, a stainless steel manufacturer as SVP & CHRO.
Priya Ranjan Kumar has more than 24 years of experience in the areas of Human Resources Management from the shop floor to the enterprise level in diverse businesses. He has handled global and multi-culture HR functions in the highly competitive business environments in India and abroad.
He has the unique experience of working in multi-geographies, multi-cultures, and multi-nationalities. Priya Ranjan is a passionate learner and a dynamic leader with expertise in delivering sustained results in dynamic environments, establishing HR structure, and building employee & organization value.
Before joining Viraj Profiles Ltd, he worked with organizations like African Industries Group, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, Reliance, and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
Priya Ranjan Kumar completed his MBA in HR from LNMI in 1997 and started his career as Assistant Manager –HR& Admin, with an MNC where he worked for seven years.
He has been featured in India’s 101 Top HR Minds and was awarded The Great Yodha of Indian HR 2018. He was also recognized as one of the Most Influential 100 Global HR Professionals.
