Lenskart ropes in Shweta Shukla as Chief People Officer

Eyewear startup, Lenskart appoints an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Shweta Shukla as its new Chief People Officer.

She replaced Lenskart’s Founder and CEO Peyush Bansal who had been also working as Chief HR Officer for the last two and half years.

In this role Shweta is responsible for leading the People function globally and member of the executive management team. Her key focus is on driving global growth, organizational effectiveness, culture & leadership.

Prior to joining Lenskart, Shweta had worked with The CultureGram as founder, and earlier she was associated with Netflix for almost 5 years as Vice President, Head of Talent & Human Resources – Asia Pacific.

Shweta is a seasoned HR professional with over 2 decades of experience, previously, she also worked with Facebook, AON, Genpact, and HSBC Bank in HR leadership role.
