Luminous Power Technologies appoints Shikha Gupta as CHRO

Luminous Power Technologies, a leading energy storage solutions provider in India, has announced the appointment of Shikha Gupta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Shikha joins Luminous from Schneider Electric, where she served as the Director of HR and DEI for India and South Asia.

In the new role, Shikha will be reporting to Ms. Preeti Bajaj, CEO and Managing Director, Luminous Power Technologies. She will spearhead the human resource function, and build the people function to effectively support the overall business plan and growth of Luminous Power Technologies. Additionally, she will also be in-charge of CSR and administration duties at Luminous.

Shikha has a career journey spanning over 23 years across different industry sectors. She joined Schneider in 2011 and held multiple roles including HR leader for R&D and a couple of international stints for Energy Business.

In her most recent role, she has been driving people priorities across Services, Customer Experience, Finance, Global Finance and governance, and Data office and has been instrumental in leading Services evolution and Finance transformation for Schneider Electric India.

Additionally, she has been leading the DEI agenda, launching interventions to influence leaders and employees for a sustained culture shift.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Shikha worked with WNS Global Services, JP Morgan Chase, Wipro Ltd, and Infosys Tech. She is an electrical Engineer, and an MBA in HR & IR from IISWBM, and holds a certification in Hogan Assessment.
