Richard Lobo former HR Head & EVP of Infosys resigned

According to BSE filling, India’s second-largest IT services provider firm, Infosys former HR head, and executive vice president, Richard Lobo resigned from the company on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Yesterday, Lobo mailed his resignation to Salil Parekh, CEO, Infosys, and the company filed the same with BSE, and said that his last date with the company would be August 31, 2023.

Last month, Lobo was moved to a special projects team under Parekh and Sushanth Tharappan replaced him as head of HR. Sushanth Tharappan who has been associated with Infosys as a Senior Vice President & Head – Infosys Leadership Institute.

This is the second change in the HR department in 2023. Earlier this year in February Infosys appointed Shaji Mathew as Group Head of Human Resources after Krish Shankar retires on March 21, 2023.

In the role of HR Head Richard Lobo was involved in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization’s strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives, leading and motivating team to achieve strategic goals and creating a best in class HR organization to deliver value to Infosys.

Richard Lobo has been associated with Infosys since December 2000. He is an alumnus of Xavier’s Institute of Management and a mechanical engineer from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
