The government organisation Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is hiring two full-time Internship research associates for a six-month project focused on improving digital access across rural India.
The telecom sector has played a key role in making banking, healthcare, retail, and other essential services more accessible through mobile platforms. While cities have seen rapid growth in this area, many rural villages still lack strong and stable network services.
This project focuses on building a digital rating and index system for villages based on telecom reach, network capacity, usage, and service quality.
The team will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, using statistical tools to identify patterns, and helping create a structured rating model that reflects the current state of digital services in different regions.
Interns will work from the client’s premises in Delhi and must be available full-time throughout the six months.
