In a major step toward enhancing digital employability for India’s youth, Edunet Foundation, in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild, has announced Employability Skills & Digital Literacy with AI” internship program.
The six-week, full-time virtual internship is open to students across India and aims to equip participants with future-ready skills in artificial intelligence, digital literacy, and professional development.
Empowering Students Through AI and Employability Skills
The program offers a structured learning journey combining weekly virtual workshops, hands-on AI projects, and industry mentorship.
It emphasizes practical exposure alongside conceptual understanding—helping students build confidence and job readiness in an AI-driven digital economy.
Participants will engage in real-world problem-solving under the guidance of domain experts, culminating in the submission of an individual AI project.
Upon successful completion, interns will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Digital Credential from Edunet Foundation and IBM SkillsBuild, reinforcing their professional portfolio and increasing their career prospects.
Open to Technical and Non-Technical Students
The initiative is open to students currently pursuing BE, BTech, BCA, MCA, or other related disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics.
Applicants are required to have access to a computer and a stable internet connection. The program carries no stipend, but offers two academic credits for the six-week duration.

The internship begins immediately, and applications will remain open until October 31, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through AICTE Internship portal.
