HR Manager demanded sex favour for deceased father’s PF

In the latest development, an incident surfaced from Mumbai where an HR Manager demanded sexual favors in exchange for releasing a 23-year-old girl’s deceased father’s Provident Fund (PF).

The incident was reported by TOI, In the complaint, the woman said: “Despite submitting multiple forms to claim the PF, I did not receive it.”

“After being informed that my father’s file was with the company’s manager, I faced further delays”, the complaint added.

The complaint further said, “When I contacted the HR manager, he asked for sexual favours to expedite the payment.”

The Mumbai police have filed a complaint against the accused in the latest development. Despite this action, no arrests have been carried out as of now.

The investigation into the matter continues, awaiting further updates from the authorities regarding any potential apprehensions. The investigation is based on the sections of Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code.

Residing in Bandra (East), the 23-year-old woman meticulously recorded her exchange with the accused.

She earns her livelihood as a house help, sharing a home with her younger brother and grandmother.

Designated as the nominee for her father’s PF account due to her parents’ divorce, she awaited access to the funds upon reaching 18 years old.
