DUSU announces internship program for over 1,000 students

The Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) has announced an internship program with experiential learning opportunities for students.

DUSU has shared the information through the official Twitter Handle. The tweet said, “News Coverage of the Student Internship Scheme: Summer Internship 2023 by DUSU.”

The student union said in the statement, “The program offers a diverse array of internship placements in collaboration with renowned organizations, both within the local community and beyond.”

“Students can choose from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to business, engineering, humanities, sciences, arts, social sciences, and technology,” the statement added.

DUSU President Akshit Dahiya said, “The launch of the Summer Internship 2023 reaffirms the DUSU dedication to facilitating holistic development, nurturing talent, and empowering the student community.”

“It would be one of the biggest internship programs provided by any Students’ Union ever”, Akshit Dahiya added.

The internship will provide the following facilities:-

  • It will offer flexible working hours.
  • It will provide, and accommodate various academic schedules and individual needs.
  • Duration of the Internships: 8 to 12 weeks

This program aims of the internship is to provide the following:-

  • An unparalleled benefit to participants, including the acquisition of practical skills.
  • The internship will provide exposure to various industries, and professional growth, all within the confines of their summer break.

The internship will provide a benefit to over 1000 students. The summer internship program of 2023 presents is applicable for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those enrolled in the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
