HCLTech, which had initially set a modest fresher hiring target of 7,000 for FY25, is now planning a more aggressive intake strategy for FY26.
The company aims to onboard 2,000 fresh graduates every quarter, potentially bringing the total annual fresher hiring to 8,000 or more.
This marks a strategic shift in talent acquisition, indicating stronger business confidence and future growth expectations.
Ramachandran Sundararajan, chief people officer at HCLTech, said while Q4 results, “We are not trying to define an annual plan in the current climate. It’s more prudent to make plans quarterly.”
