Infosys is hiring for 673 entry-level roles, and 1345 other jobs; Apply

India’s second-largest IT services provider company Infosys has posted various job opportunities on its career page, LinkedIn Page, and Job Portals.

The company is hiring entry-level and experienced professionals across the country for various roles.

Hiring Trends in 2024

The overall hiring this year is expected to grow by 8.3 percent with the job market showing signs of recovery in December, a PTI report said. December witnessed a 2 percent growth in hiring, the found it Annual Trends Report said.

It projected an overall hiring expansion of 8.3 percent for 2024, with Bengaluru expected to see an 11 percent surge. Key sectors that will experience increased hiring include manufacturing, BFSI, automotive, retail, and travel and tourism, it said.

Today’s Mony Control Report suggests that the current hiring scenario in the information technology (IT) industry reflects a general decline, with an estimated decrease of 35-40 percent. However, it may start picking up after June 2024.

Infosys Chief Financial Officer Nilanjan Roy said while announcing Q3FY24 results, “We continue to monitor the utilization and our flexi hiring model and at this stage of course we’re not seeing any immediate campus requirement.”

However, in the previous Quarter, the company said that it would skip campus hiring this year as it has a ‘way to go’ on utilization. However, it is monitoring the situation every quarter.

The attrition of the company improved to 12.9 percent from 14.6 percent in the second quarter ending on Sept 30, 2023.

Infosys reported a drop of 6,101 in the total headcount, which stood at 322,663 in Q3FY24 ending on December 31, 2023
