Bengaluru entrepreneur humorously responds to job scammers

Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Udita Pal and co-founder of Saltpe, recently took to Twitter to share her experience of being offered a fake job. She shared her humorous conversation on WhatsApp which is now going viral.

The recruiter asked her to like and subscribe to a YouTube video to get paid. The message received by Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Udita Pal was from Devikar, a recruiter from Tarus Capital Company Limited in Mumbai.

He was identified as the suspected fraudster. Devikar asked her to watch a business YouTube video for 10 seconds, like it, and subscribe to the channel.

Additionally, the message read, “You don’t have to pay any fee, you just have to spend a few minutes on your mobile phone, and you will get one hundred and fifty!”

The message from the scammer read, “You don’t have to pay any fee, you just have to spend a few minutes on your mobile phone, and you will get one hundred and fifty!”

“We will pay with you using UPI, bank method, or Paytm. You can negotiate about the payment method”, the message added.

She responded to the scammer, saying, “Okay doing,” and then shared a screenshot of a different YouTube video with a hilarious title “Caught some idiot trying to scam.” 

She has shared the tweet with the headline, “I’m going to hell for this.”

The tweet has now become viral and getting various reactions of similar types of scams. Following her trend there have been many Twitter users that have shared the same scam. One user wrote, “I did the same thing and managed to get 150Rs.”

“Now the scammer blocked me and I am probably blacklisted. Thanks for the YouTube screenshot @i_Udita“, his tweet added.

“Unblocked again now they asking to check the payment. I am still denying that I received the payment”, his tweet added.
