Flipkart’s investing arm, Flipkart Ventures, has announced the opening of applications for the third cohort of its accelerator program, ‘Flipkart Leap Ahead‘ (FLA).

The accelerator program cultivates innovation and supports budding entrepreneurship in Indian tech startups. The program applications open April 22 to May 26, 2024, offering early-stage ventures an opportunity to thrive.

The companies integrating GenAI into their core solutions across sectors will be chosen to receive equity investments ranging from $200,000 to $500,000.

Lubna Ahmed, Head of Flipkart Ventures, said, “The ‘Flipkart Leap Ahead’ program under Flipkart Ventures underscores this mission by providing selected startups with substantial financial investment and, more importantly, opportunities for invaluable mentorship.”

“To drive their growth, we look forward to ushering in the next generation of innovation”, Lubna Ahmed added.

They’ll also benefit from crucial mentorship aimed at attaining product-market fit, constructing scalable architecture, and forming robust teams, all vital for their success in the competitive landscape of innovation and technology. Upon securing the investment, the chosen startups will engage in a two-month mentorship initiative.

During this program, seasoned industry veterans, operators, and founders will provide invaluable guidance to prepare these entrepreneurs for rapid expansion.

This intensive period culminates in a demo day, during which startups present their advancements and strategies to potential investors, aiming to secure further funding for their growth.

This structured approach ensures that startups not only receive financial backing but also benefit from the expertise and experience of seasoned professionals, enhancing their chances of success in the competitive market landscape.

The program invites India-based, early-stage (Seed to Series A) tech startups from diverse sectors like Fintech (B2B & B2C), Mobility & Logistics, GenAI, HealthTech, SaaS, B2B Marketplaces, DeepTech, and Climate & Sustainability to apply.
