IBM through IBM SkillsBuild is offering Free AI Courses; Apply

An American online educational website and initiative product of IBM, IBM SkillsBuild is offering multiple courses including Artificial Intelligence courses for students and educators.

Earlier, IBM announced an expansion of its relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help more mutual clients operationalize and derive value from generative artificial intelligence (AI).

As part of this, IBM Consulting aims to deepen and expand its generative AI expertise on AWS by training 10,000 consultants by the end of 2024; the two organizations also plan to deliver joint solutions and services upgraded with generative AI capabilities designed to help clients across critical use cases.

The SkillsBuild is offering multiple courses under the following categories and Explore resources for:

IBM SkillsBuild is offering a Free AI Course

To help close the global artificial intelligence (AI) skills gap, IBM announced a commitment to train two million learners in AI by the end of 2026, with a focus on underrepresented communities.

To achieve this goal at a global scale, IBM is expanding AI education collaborations with universities globally, collaborating with partners to deliver AI training to adult learners, and launching new generative AI coursework through IBM SkillsBuild.

This will expand upon IBM’s existing programs and career-building platforms to offer enhanced access to AI education and in-demand technical roles.  

The company is collaborating with universities at a global level to build capacity around AI leveraging IBM’s network of experts.

For Students

IBM SkillsBuild is offering an AI course for students it said, “Gain a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, including technical underpinnings like natural language processing, practical applications, and ethical considerations. Then, get some hands-on experience by building your chatbot!”

For Educators

IBM SkillsBuild said, “With these free AI resources, you’ll be learning artificial intelligence and then you will be ready to lead productive discussions with your students on this revolutionary technology.
