KPMG in India and the NHRD Bangalore Chapter announced that they would be coming together to offer a variety of short virtual instructor led executive training programmes specifically targeted at Human Resources (‘HR’) professionals across various levels.

These programmes will allow HR professionals to hone specific skills that they need to build and learn outside of their own domain.

The NHRD Bangalore Chapter is one of India’s largest networks for HR professionals, which plays a role in augmenting knowledge and skills to prepare leaders for tomorrow.

Through this alliance, KPMG in India, along with the NHRD Bangalore Chapter, aims to help and upskill HR professionals pan India, across industries, by catering to their training and development needs for professional growth.

The programmes being offered would be virtual and instructor-led executive training programmes, which KPMG in India as training ally would be providing. Each programme would be insight-led and would have a job-relevant curriculum, designed, and delivered by KPMG in India’s expert facilitators.

Some of these executive programmes are around the themes – Stakeholder Management, Executive Presence, Implementing Design Thinking, Communication Excellence, Project Management, Analytics for Managers and Finance for HR Managers etc.

All of these programmes will cater to HR professionals right from junior to mid to senior levels. One of the key highlights of enrolling for any of these programmes would be that these programmes will probably help the candidates to gain practical insights on the application of concepts and be able to apply them back at the workplace.

Additionally, it would also be providing an opportunity for these HR professionals, to role model a learning culture in their respective organisations by inculcating an idea of how one could take charge of their own learning.

Sharing his views on the alliance, Vijay Gogoi, Partner and Lead, Learning Services, KPMG in India said “We believe that our alliance will help certify deserving and trained human resources professionals, and probably also help generate appropriate employment opportunities for them.”

“Together with the NHRD Bangalore Chapter our programmes have been designed in a way, that HR professionals can draw from concepts like design thinking, project management, analytics, and core HR skills, which then has the potential to transform what they can offer to their business”, Vijay Gogoi added.

Chaitanya N Sreenivas – President NHRD Bangalore Chapter “The alliance with KPMG in India and NHRD Bangalore is aimed at bringing value added training programmes to the larger HR fraternity and non HR professionals.”

“KPMG in India’s understanding of the area with cutting edge content offers a diverse set of courses around HR functions and programmes, learning strategy including deployment and execution services to individuals and organisations. This will enable practitioners to skill-up on their capabilities and drive impact”, Chaitanya N Sreenivas added.

Chaitanya N Sreenivas further said, “This alliance provides greater accessibility to such programmes as we continuously strive to build capabilities in the market.’’

Participants enrolling for the programmes and fulfilling all the requirements will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the programmes. KPMG in India and the NHRD Bangalore Chapter are committed to encouraging continued professional development of HR professionals in India and our joint belief is that this alliance would be probably critical for addressing some of the skills gap that exists.
