In recent years, companies across various industries have been increasingly turning their attention towards generative AI technologies. The consortium led by Reliance Industries is preparing to launch an artificial intelligence model specifically designed for India (BharatGPT).

Reliance’s Hanooman, model is being developed in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology universities and is backed by Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.

In addition to Reliance Industries, BharatGPT includes eight prominent universities as part of the consortium. Recently, a sneak peek of the AI model was showcased to a select audience at an event.

Hanooman will offer speech-to-text capabilities to the users. The model will work via 11 local languages in four fields: health care, governance, financial services, and education. The AI model, called Hanooman, is based on the ChatGPT-style AIR model and is scheduled to be introduced in March.

Reliance is already working on Jio Brain– a platform to use AI across a network of about 450 million subscribers.

Why are companies investing in the ChatGPT model?

The new ChatGPT model is an advanced system that is designed to generate new and innovative content, such as images, music, and even human-like text.

As businesses seek to harness the power of artificial creativity, they are investing significant resources into developing and implementing generative AI solutions.

The key driving force behind companies’ investments in generative AI is the desire to unlock untapped creative potential. By leveraging these cutting-edge technologies, businesses can automate content creation processes while maintaining high-quality standards.

Generative AI technology also offers significant advantages when it comes to streamlining operations within an organization

Moreover, companies are investing in generative AI because they recognize its potential for scalability and adaptability across various domains within their organization.
