India’s largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring 77,000 freshers in the current financial year due to strong demand for tech talent.
Milind Lakkad, Global Head- HR, TCS said, Initially we have planned to hire 40,000 freshers but due to strong demand for tech talent and projects we are now hiring 77,000 freshers in the financial year 2022.”
“For campus hiring, we have already done 43,000. We are looking at another 34,000” Lakkad added.
TCS announced a hiring programme “TCS Smart Hiring for Year of Passing 2020, 2021 & 2022” under this programme, interested candidates can apply till November 30, 2021.
TCS Smart Hiring is exclusively for BCA, B. Sc (Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, IT), B. Voc in CS / IT from the year of passing 2020, 2021 & 2022

TCS has also announced, “TCS Off-campus for Yop 2020 & 2021 – Phase 2” Under this programme engineering graduates from the year of passing (YOP) 2020 and 2021 can register till November 30, 2021.
