Meesho employees to get 9 days Reset and Recharge Break

Meesho, India’s only true e-commerce marketplace, has set a remarkable precedent in employee wellness with the announcement of the third consecutive annual “Reset and Recharge” break.

The employees will enjoy a 9-day hiatus to unplug from work from November 11th to the 19th, 2023 to prioritize their mental well-being.

Ashish Kumar Singh, Chief Human Resources Officer, Meesho, said, “Over the past couple of years, we have been impressed by the intangible yet profoundly positive influence that the Reset and Recharge break has exerted on our employees’ mental well-being.”

“Notably, after their return to work from the break, we have observed a palpable sense of joy and renewed vigor in our team. This, perhaps, is one of the factors that helps Meeshoites bring their utmost potential to the workplace”, Ashish Kumar Singh added.

Ashish Kumar Singh further said, “These forward-thinking policies have significantly bolstered our focus on employees and propelled us to maintain industry-leading retention rates.”

Embassy Group announces 4-day Dussehra break, 9-day Diwali break

A leading real estate developer, Embassy Group announced an extended 4-day Dussehra break and a 9-day Diwali festive break for all its employees.

Maria Rajesh, CHRO, Embassy Group said, “The festive season at Embassy Group is a time for reflection, appreciation, and celebration. These initiatives underscore the company’s commitment to the well-being of its employees, recognizing their hard work, and showing gratitude to those who support the organization.”

“The festive season is a time of joy, but it can also bring bouts of burnout for employees. Meeting deadlines before going on a festive break, and multiple employee engagement activities, amongst others, can be overwhelming”, Maria Rajesh said.
