The Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) serves as Deloitte’s innovation hub, bringing together experts in software development, user experience (UX) design, data science, and digital strategy.

Interns at the DEC will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test business applications for Deloitte’s global clientele.

Internship Role and Responsibilities

Selected interns will take on the role of Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers. Their primary responsibilities include:

  • Writing automated test scripts.
  • Designing and executing test cases.
  • Identifying and documenting software defects.
  • Collaborating with UX and development teams to optimize performance.
  • Learning scalable and secure system architectures.

This role provides interns with a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to industry-standard tools and practices.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fields (final-year students and recent graduates are eligible).
  • Strong understanding of manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
