The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), working with Edunet Foundation and IBM SkillsBuild, is offering a six-week online internship in Artificial Intelligence (AI) starting June 2025.

IBM’s goal is to help students build practical skills that match what today’s tech jobs require.

This program includes weekly online sessions where students will learn the basics of AI, including machine learning, deep learning, and how AI is used to solve real-world problems.

In addition to the training sessions, students will also work on hands-on projects. These projects are guided by professionals who work in the industry, giving students a chance to apply what they learn in a real setting.

The internship is open to students who are currently enrolled in BE, BTech, BCA, or MCA courses, especially those studying Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or similar subjects.

To take part, students need a working computer or laptop with a stable internet connection.

Either Windows or Linux can be used as the operating system. It’s also recommended to use a current version of Chrome or Firefox for better access to the online content.

Key Information

  • Start Date: Open for applications now
  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Stipend: Unpaid
  • Credit: 1 academic credit
  • Application Deadline: May 31, 2025
  • Total Openings: 5000

Students can apply through the AICTE National Internship Portal.

At the end of the program, each student must complete and submit a personal AI project. Students who finish all the required work will receive a certificate from Edunet Foundation and a digital badge that they can use on their online profiles.

This internship gives students a strong base in AI and connects what they learn in school to the types of tasks they might face in the workplace. It also gives them the chance to be mentored by professionals and improve their technical and problem-solving skills.

Students are encouraged to apply before the deadline. This Internship program, backed by AICTE, Edunet Foundation, and IBM, offers a solid chance to learn useful skills and get noticed in the fast-moving field of AI.
