Tech Mahindra allows employees to work from anywhere, they want to work from the office or home

Tech Mahindra, the Indian IT major Tech Mahindra has given the flexibility to employees to choose where they want to work from. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it difficult for companies to choose how their employees work.

This goes on to show that the company is mindful of the physical and mental health of the employees which has been primarily caused by the spreading of the COVID-19 pandemic. And Unlike its other counterparts, Tech Mahindra has left the decision on its employees. COVID-19 pandemic has left a physical and mental impact on employees. The company has understood the apprehensions about commuting to the office, social distancing, and hygiene when the COVID-19 is spreading rampantly.

Tech Mahindra has also assured that they will be taking all the necessary precautions regarding hygiene and sanitation for the employees who wish to work from the workplace. These measures include daily checks on temperature, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and also the mood of the employees!

After the government partially allowed the IT firms to restart their operations, some of these firms started calling their employees back to work. Some of the companies are operating with 10% of the workforce capacity from office on a rotational basis.

Tech Mahindra is among the few companies in India to allow employees to pick whether they want to work remotely or in office. The tech firm has also implemented several checks to ensure a safe office space environment.

Major IT companies in India, including Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini have asked their employees to come back to their offices and resume work from there.
