Bajaj Electricals elevates EC Prasad as Chief Financial Officer

Bajaj Electricals elevates EC Prasad as new Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company with effect from 01 July 2021.

Currently, EC Prasad is working with the company as Vice President – Finance and Finance Controller since November 2019.

Prasad is a senior finance and business management executive with several years of experience in managing a variety of multi-cultural, multi-location businesses across India and overseas. He has expertise in strategic planning, corporate finance & business development, cost control, and budgeting.

He also has hands-on experience in building diverse finance & business functions at multiple levels. Well-versed in structuring investments for new entities & managing mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bajaj Electricals, Prasad has been associated with Voltas Limited as Vice President Finance and CFO designate. Earlier, he also worked with Emami Limited as Commercial Manager for almost 6 years.

Prasad is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant both and also holds a certificate in Finance & Financial Management Services from Harvard University

Bajaj Electricals Ltd is an Indian consumer electrical equipment manufacturing company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is a part of the Rs.380 billion Bajaj Group. It has diversified with interests in lighting, luminaries, appliances, fans, LPG based Generators, engineering and projects
