Shri Jayant Chaudhary expressed his delight at the establishment of this state-of-the-art facility, emphasizing its role in empowering the local workforce.

The NSTI extension centre boasts modern infrastructure, equipped with cutting-edge training facilities. This investment underscores the government’s commitment to fostering skill development.

Union Minister highlighted the importance of industry partnerships. Corporations in Andhra Pradesh play a crucial role in shaping skilled manpower.

By engaging with industry leaders, the NSTI aims to align training programs with industry needs.

The Union Minister stressed the need to make skilling aspirational for young learners. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of promoting vocational courses alongside traditional degrees.

The NSTI extension centre aims to create an environment where students actively consider vocational training as a viable career path.

Jayant urged stakeholders to reform these institutions, provide world-class infrastructure, and train instructors to meet industry demands.

On this occasion, several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged between NSTI and institutions such as Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), and the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET).
