Like its global counterparts, Capgemini in India celebrates Pride Month with various initiatives and activities aimed at supporting and honoring the LGBTQ+ community.

The company promotes policies that support LGBTQ+ rights and often conducts training and awareness programs to educate employees about LGBTQ+ issues and the importance of diversity and inclusion.

Recently, Aarti Srivastava, Chief HR Officer at Capgemini India, emphasized that Pride Month transcends dates on the calendar. It’s about fostering an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of identity, feels welcome. Her LinkedIn post reflects Capgemini’s commitment to diversity and acceptance.

In a post on LinkedIn, Aarti Srivastava said, “At Capgemini, Pride Month isn’t just some dates on the calendar; it’s a whole vibe where everyone is welcome, irrespective of who you are, and how you identify.”

“We’ll put the rainbow flags on our profiles to show allyship, sure, but let’s do more than that and show our LGBTQ+ friends that we’ve got their backs.’ She added.

Aarti further said, “We have rolled out gender transition guidelines in India and Italy, complementing our Diversity & Inclusion policy, so our people get the support they need. Plus, our Confidential Contacts, an informal group of peers, are here to lend an ear whenever our LGBTQ+ colleagues need a chat.”

“And are you planning some international business trips? Our LGBT+ Travel Resources have got you covered! Big wave out to OUTfront, our awesome global employee network group, for getting us some serious accolades: Gold Top Global Employer by Stonewall and nods from the Human Rights Campaign in the USA, Mexico, and Brazil.” She further added.

Aarti invites all to join Capgemini’s Pride celebration, fostering inclusivity and authenticity. Let’s unite in creating an environment where everyone can express themselves freely. Let’s be an Ally!
