To create a skilled workforce, the Adani Group has pledged Rs 2,000 crore to establish India’s largest ‘Skill and Employ’ initiative in collaboration with Singapore’s ITE Education Services (ITEES).

This initiative aims to develop a robust talent pipeline for industries such as green energy, manufacturing, hi-tech, project excellence, and industrial design.

The Adani Group has partnered with ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore. They will build a skilled talent pipeline for serving industries across the spectrum.

The Adani family will donate over Rs 2,000 crore to establish internationally benchmarked schools of excellence.

This is part of the Rs 10,000 crore social donation announced by the Group earlier.

Adani Group Launches Adani Global Skills Academy

Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, announced in a post on social media platform X that the company is launching the world’s largest finishing school.

This facility will be located in Mundra, Gujarat.

This state-of-the-art facility will blend AI-driven immersive learning with cutting-edge innovation centers.

It will annually train over 25,000 learners to help accelerate the ‘Make in India’ movement.

The initiative will primarily cater to fresh graduates and diploma holders from ITIs and Polytechnics.

It will provide them with an intensive boot camp experience designed to align their skills with industry standards.

Each of these finishing schools, called Adani Global Skills Academy, will select students from technical and vocational education backgrounds in India.

These selections will be aligned to their industry and role aspirations.

Employment Opportunities: Commitment to Make-in-India

Once these students have been certified in their chosen field of study, they will be provided employment within the Adani Group.

Additionally, they will find opportunities in the broader industry, depending on their role and field of training.

This will ensure that trained professionals are first-day first-hour industry-ready and benchmarked to global standards of excellence.

Robin Bhowmik, CEO of Adani Skills and Education, emphasized the importance of the initiative.

He said that it aligns with the Group’s commitment to Make-in-India movement. It will also play a crucial role in building high-level technical talent.

The collaboration with ITEES Singapore will bring in global expertise in skills education and academic quality assurance.

Additionally, it will facilitate faculty and student exchange programs, as well as leadership development.

Suresh Natarajan, CEO of ITEES, Singapore, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration.

He stated that ITEES aims to enhance skill development and create lasting impact by transforming education and lives.
