HONO AI Appoints Sumit Sabharwal as Chief Business Officer

HONO AI, a leading provider of AI-powered HR-tech solutions, has announced the appointment of Sumit Sabharwal as Chief Business Officer (CBO) for India and South Asia.

Sumit will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and delivering value through next-generation HR technologies.

His focus will be on improving employee experience and business performance for enterprise clients across the region.

Sumit Sabharwal brings over two decades of leadership experience across HR-tech, fintech, and the BFSI sector.

His career spans a diverse set of organizations, including Deel, TeamLease HRtech, Equifax, OCS Group Inc., Excelity Global, Essar, HDFC Bank, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., and Aegis.

In each of these roles, Sumit has been recognized for driving business growth, enabling digital transformation, and building scalable, people-first strategies.

At Deel, a global payroll and compliance platform, Sumit played a key role in expanding enterprise partnerships and streamlining workforce solutions.

His tenure at TeamLease HRtech saw him lead strategic initiatives in workforce automation and compliance.

Across his career, Sumit has consistently aligned technology with business outcomes.

He has helped organizations modernize their HR operations and improve employee engagement.

Hono AI CBO Sumit’s Academic Credentials and Global Exposure

Sumit holds a Ph.D. in Management from NMIMS CDOE, an MBA from MDI Gurgaon, and a B.Tech. from Kurukshetra University.

He has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Sciences Po, Paris.

These experiences have equipped him with a global perspective on leadership, innovation, and organizational development.

His academic foundation complements his practical experience, allowing him to approach business challenges with both analytical rigor and strategic foresight.
