Kong Inc. appoints Gunjan Aggarwal as Chief People Officer

Gunjan Aggarwal joins Kong Inc. as Chief People Officer, bringing over three decades of extensive experience in human resources.

In this new role, Gunjan will lead Kong’s global people strategy, focusing on scaling the Human Resources organization, as well as attracting and retaining top talent to support the company’s continued growth trajectory. 

Gunjan holds a BS in Electronics & Communications from Jamia Millia Islamia, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She earned an MBA in HR from XLRI in Jamshedpur. Additionally, she completed several HR management courses at Harvard University.

Extensive HR Background

Before joining Kong Inc., Gunjan worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Confluent, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategies.

Earlier she worked as Chief People Officer at RingCentral and previously, Gunjan was associated with RELX Group as Chief HR Officer. Her career span also includes working with Ericsson and Novartis in HR leadership roles.

Throughout her career, Gunjan has held numerous HR roles, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the organizations she has been part of.

Her extensive experience spans different sectors, highlighting her adaptability and profound understanding of human resource management in diverse settings.

Advisory Experience

In addition to her professional achievements, Gunjan has contributed her expertise to advisory roles, serving on the board of CanGrade, a Harvard-based start-up specializing in analytics-based recruiting.

She has been also involved with Rubia, a non-profit organization that supports Afghan women, reflecting her dedication to making a positive impact beyond the corporate sphere.

Gunjan Aggarwal’s rich experience, combined with her innovative leadership approach and commitment to diversity and inclusion, positions her as a key asset to Kong Inc. as it continues to evolve and thrive in the dynamic business landscape.
