Microsoft has appointed Carolina Dybeck Happe as its new Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Carolina’s Role and Responsibilities at Microsoft
In her newly created role, Carolina will join the senior leadership team (SLT) and report directly to Satya Nadella. Her mandate includes driving continuous business process improvement across all Microsoft organizations.
Carolina’s expertise will be instrumental in accelerating Microsoft’s company-wide AI transformation. As AI becomes increasingly central to the tech landscape, her leadership will enhance value for customers and partners.
As part of the transition, several critical teams will now report to Carolina including the Commerce + Ecosystems organization in Cloud + AI.
Other teams reporting to her are the Microsoft Digital organization in Experiences + Devices and the Microsoft Business Operations organization in Finance.
