N Chandrasekaran has formally taken charge as chairman of Tata Digital

Executive Chairman of Tata Sons, N Chandrasekaran has now formally taken charge as Chairman of Tata Digital which had announced the launch of its much-hyped super app Tata Neu on April 7.

Tata Neu is an app designed to offer customers an extensive yet highly personalized shopping experience. The culmination of over two years of research, development, and testing, it can truly be called a ‘super app’ and aims to bring about a great shopping experience for its customers.

The super app offers users a degree of versatility and choice that’s truly unmatched. Covering categories ranging from electronics and groceries, to travel and more, the range of products and services offered is second to none.

Tata group has set up Tata Digital to build digital businesses that will address the needs of Indian consumers as well as businesses. Tata Digital has been N Chandrasekaran’s brainchild since he took charge as Tata Sons chairman.

He has been closely involved in Tata Digital’s growth plans from the beginning aiming to bring together deep technology expertise to simplify lives and deliver enriched consumer experiences.

The company’s strategy is being spearheaded by Pratik Pal, CEO, Tata Digital along with Mukesh Bansal, Founder of Cultfit – who previously founded fashion e-commerce startup Myntra. 

Recently, N. Chandrasekaran has bagged India’s highest civilian honour award, Padma Bhushan in the field of trade and industry on Republic Day in 2022.
