Qure.ai appoints Poonam Ajgaonkar as Chief People Officer

A healthcare AI company, Qure.ai has appointed Poonam Ajgaonkar as Chief People Officer (CPO). In this role, she will be responsible for leading the people agenda globally for Qure.ai.

Furthermore, she will drive the people and talent strategy, attracting and retaining top talent, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering an inclusive work culture globally.

She has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at Qure.ai!”

“Really looking forward to working with the team and positively impacting a billion lives through our solutions!”, she added.

Prashant Warier, founder and CEO of Qure.ai said, “Poonam’s extensive experience in HR leadership, diversity, and inclusion, and her passion for fostering a positive work culture complements our vision perfectly.” 

“We believe her experience will be invaluable in attracting and nurturing talent at Qure.ai as we scale our operations and expand our global footprint,” Prashant Warier added.

Poonam is an HR professional with over 20 years of relevant experience across industries including Pharma, Data & Technology, and Shipping.

She has been an integral part of the strategic HR group and has successfully conceptualized and executed assignments in areas including Talent Acquisition and Management, Employee Engagement & Retention, Organizational Development, Internal Communication, Performance Management, and HR Operations.

Prior to Qure.ai, Poonam was associated with Experian as Human Resources Director, in India. She worked with the organization for over 6 years.

Her earlier stints include working with Maersk Group, Evotec India, and Hutchison 3 Global Services Pvt. Ltd.

She started her career working with Intelenet Global Services as Officer – Corporate HR. In this role, she was responsible for Performance Management, Assessment Center, Competency Mapping, and Succession Planning.

She holds a master’s degree in business administration and completed her bachelor of science (B.Sc), Microbiology from the University of Mumbai. She is a Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst, Executive Coach, and Mental Health First Aider.
