Reliance Consumer Products Appoints Dr. Mohan in Key Roles

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) arm of Reliance Retail, has appointed Dr. Mohan Prasad Mettu as its Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and Lead for Employee Relations (ER).

Mohan brings over 25 years of extensive experience in human resources, labor relations, and organizational transformation.

His expertise makes him a valuable addition to the company.

Responsibilities at Reliance Consumer Products

In his new role at RCPL, Mohan will collaborate with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.

His responsibilities include talent development, succession planning for critical roles, employee engagement, and enhancing people productivity.

He will focus on creating a positive and efficient work environment. Additionally, he will ensure compliance with HR policies and best practices.

A Distinguished Career in HR

Dr. Mohan Prasad Mettu has made significant contributions to the field of human resources throughout his career.

He holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from Andhra University and an LLB from Mahatma Gandhi Law College.

These qualifications provide him with a strong foundation in HR practices and labor laws.

His professional journey began in 1996 as an HRD Officer at Shree Manufacturing, followed by roles at Andhra Cements and Extredge POS Systems.

Mohan’s association with The Coca-Cola Company began in 2001, where he held various HR leadership roles over six years.

He later joined Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) in 2009, serving in multiple strategic positions, including National Supply Chain HR Manager, Zonal HR Head, and Head of Total Rewards.

His tenure at HCCB was marked by significant achievements in talent acquisition, HR operations, and digital transformation.

Most recently, he served as Head of People Services, overseeing talent acquisition, payroll, and HR systems.
