Usha International, one of India’s leading consumer durables brands, has appointed Dipty Jalan as Chief Human Resources Officer (Senior Vice President – HR), marking her return to the organization in a significantly expanded leadership role.
Dipty brings over two decades of experience in HR strategy, organizational development, and cultural transformation.
Her appointment reflects Usha’s renewed commitment to building a resilient, high-performing, and inclusive workforce.
In her new role, Dipty will lead the company’s HR strategy, talent development, and employee experience initiatives across its 3,700-member workforce, spanning 16 regional offices, 60 showrooms, and 33 warehouses nationwide.
A Return to Familiar Ground with Broader Mandate
This appointment marks Dipty’s second tenure at Usha International.
Between 2015 and 2024, she held multiple leadership roles at Usha International.
Her positions included Vice President – Head of Talent Management, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, HR Operations, and Regional HR Business Partner.
During this period, she played a pivotal role in strengthening HR operations, driving transformation in compensation and capability building, and embedding a culture of inclusion and performance.
Dipty Jalan rejoins Usha after serving as Corporate Vice President – Head of Talent Management, Learning, Culture, and OD at Axis Max Life Insurance.
In that role, she led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on leadership development, organizational transformation, and culture building.

Dipty’s career spans notable organizations such as Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (MTS), where she led performance management systems and employee engagement strategies, and Right Management, where she delivered strategic HR consulting projects across organization design, talent management, and career transitions.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar, and has been recognized with several accolades, including:
