Niren Srivastava has over 19 years of experience in Human Resources function in Financial Services across Life & Health Insurance, Mutual Funds and Banking organizations.

A well-diversified financial services firm, Motilal Oswal Financial Services has announced the appointment of Niren Srivastava as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer.

Niren Srivastava has over 19 years of experience in Human Resources function in Financial Services across Life & Health Insurance, Mutual Funds and Banking organizations.

Niren has key aspects of handling HR functions across various stints including HR Business Partnership/ HRIT Systems/Organizational Frameworks & Span of Controls/Strategic Workforce Planning/Industry & Market Benchmarking of HR Practices/Employee Benefits & Employee Engagement/HR Policies and Processes.

Prior to Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Niren was associated with Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited as EVP & Head – of Human Resources, L&D & Administration.

As a part of the Leadership Team of Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited, since 2018, Niren was responsible for driving the entire people’s agenda for the organization. Further, as the Head of the function he helped in building a workforce of 4000 employees, 50,000 distributors, and more than 200 locations across the country. Additionally, he was responsible for Leading and providing functional guidance to a large and geographically dispersed 85-member HR, Training & Admin team.

Niren was working with Aditya Birla for over 12 years. He has held various leadership roles within the organization.

Previously, Niren was working with YES BANK as Senior Manager. In this role, he designed, developed, and implemented a comprehensive HRIT system that was administered to over 3500 employees across 120 locations. Further, he devised processes and policies for employees, managed performance management, and reviewed and analyzed Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) of all HR policies.

Niren started his career working with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited as Deputy Manager – HR. He joined Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance as Management Trainee directly from campus. Here, he was responsible for the seamless execution of employee benefits, performance management, and appraisals. He holds his Master’s in Business Administration from IBS Hyderabad.
