Orient Papers and Industries appoints Vinod Rai as CHRO

Orient Papers and Industries Ltd (CK Birla Group) has appointed Vinod Rai as Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this role, he will be responsible for heading Complete Gamut of HR and he will strongly be emphasizing HR transformation, digitization, and capability building.

Vinod has more than 2 decades of experience working with leading organizations. Apart from HR Operations, he had extensively worked in HR Transformation, Building Industrial Relation Capability, Enhancing Employee Engagement, Key Talent Retention, attracting Flexible Workforce & HR Digitization.

Prior to Orient Papers and Industries Ltd (CK Birla Group), he was Head of Human Resources at Maruti Suzuki India Limited. In this role, he was heading & overseeing HR of Engineering, QA & Rohtak R&D facility, with an employee strength of approximately 3200 employees. He has held various leadership roles at the organization.

His earlier stints include working with Jubilant Life Science Ltd (Formerly Jubilant Organosys Ltd) as Head (DGM) – Business HR & Talent Acquisition and Panacea Biotec as Asst Manager. He started his career in June 1994.

Vinod is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur. He holds his Master in Business Administration – MBA, Personnel Management & Marketing from Nagpur University.
