Revolut India appoints Flipkart’s Sandeep as Head of People

A British financial technology company, Revolut India has announced the appointment of Sandeep Nainwal as Head of People.

Paroma Chatterjee CEO of Revolut India said, “Within a short span of one and a half years, we have grown to become a team of 60+ employees in the India core team and over 800 employees across all the global operations that are being supported from India.”

“I am very happy to have Sandeep joins us to ensure that Revolut becomes the workplace of choice for the top talent in India”, Paroma Chatterjee added.

In his new role, Sandeep will be responsible for talent acquisition, retention, performance development, learning & development, and reporting & HR analytics.

Sandeep, Head of People said, “The FinTech space is one of the most buzzing sectors currently, especially in India. It is an exciting time to be at Revolut and I am equally thrilled to be joining the dream team, working on making it the best workplace for the exceptional talent in India to grow and deliver WOW.”

He is an innovative and result-oriented HR professional with nearly 14 years of experience in various Human Resources functions including Business Partnering, Talent Management, Talent Retention, Talent Acquisition, University Relations, and Employee Engagement.

Prior to Revolut India, Sandeep Nainwal was associated with Flipkart as Associate Director, Fintech & Payments Group. Earlier, he was working with NEC Technologies India Ltd., CMC LTD, and PSI India Private Limited.

He is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur. He completed his Master’s in HRM from Jamia Millia Islamia and his bachelor’s from Delhi University.
