India’s leading automobile and mobility solutions company, Tata Motors names Sitaram Kandi as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) effective 1st April 2024. He joined Tata Motors in 2019 and currently working as Vice President – HR.
As CHRO, he will be responsible for the entire gamut of HR for Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle and Electric Vehicle Businesses. He will also join the Executive Committee.
Moreover, Sitaram will take charge from Ravindra Kumar G.P. who has been serving as the CHRO of Tata Motors since 2018 and will be moving on to a new responsibility within the Tata Group.
Sitaram is an HR professional with thirty years of experience in India and overseas. He has worked on diverse facets of HR and Industrial Relations with global companies. Before joining Tata Motors, he was associated with GE as Director- HR – Global Supply Chain – South Asia.
His earlier stints include working with Mustafa Sultan Enterprises LLC, Fourfront Management Solutions, Monsanto Company, TE Connectivity, Bosch India, and Videocon Industries Ltd.
He is an alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and completed his bachelor’s degree from Osmania University.
