Uno Minda ropes in Rakesh Mehta as CHRO from JSW Energy

The International Grid of Automobile Components Manufacturing company, Uno Minda Limited appointed Rakesh Mehta as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), effective April 12, 2024.

His new role involves managing people, emphasizing workforce optimization, and fostering a growth-oriented culture.

Rakesh has over three decades of experience in the HR domain. He joined Uno Minda Limited from JSW Energy Ltd where he was working as Executive Vice President & Head – HR.

He possesses extensive experience crafting HR frameworks and strategies tailored for large enterprises. Adept in cultural transformation, employee relations, and navigating mergers & acquisitions, he excels in establishing effective people practices, compensation structures, and benefits systems.

His profound business acumen and wealth of knowledge make him an invaluable asset capable of driving organizational success through strategic human resource management initiatives.

His earlier stints also included working with Reliance Industries Limited General Motors, Asian Paints, Guardian Industries, and Crompton Greaves.

He started his professional journey at Rallis India Ltd. Rakesh holds his Masters in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
