“The answer can’t be to make better career choices! People have diff skill sets. 3rd year mein toh you start getting an idea of what you might want to do”, the post added.

“I guess, but even rent is so expensive or you have to seriously compromise on where you stay”, her post added.

In her response, a Twitter user wrote, “Life is all about compromises, You can either pay rent 5k with sharing, 10k alone, 20k with hotel feel, 30k in a high-rise building. You can cook your own food or eat at a 5-star restaurant.”

It has also opened a Debate on the post there have been various responses, One Twitter user wrote” Though I agree that 50k is low in metro city, but it totally depends on your lifestyle. For example, as a fresher I am also getting only 30k in Bengaluru, around 10k I send to my family, but still end up saving around 5k.”

Another user wrote, “It depends on your lifestyle. I know ppl with lower than 50k salaries, but still, end up saving at least 8-10k per month, post all expenses. And I also know ppl whose lifestyle expenses go beyond 50k. It’s all in the lifestyle we want to live.”
