Accenture has announced a sweeping reorganization of its business model.
The global consulting giant is consolidating its core service lines—Strategy, Consulting, Song, Technology, and Operations—into a single, integrated business unit called Reinvention Services, effective September 1, 2025.
This rebranding marks a significant evolution in how Accenture positions itself in the market, shifting from traditional consulting to a more holistic, AI-powered transformation partner.
Why ‘Reinvention Services’?
According to CEO Julie Sweet, the new structure is designed to make it easier for clients to access AI-embedded, cross-functional solutions that deliver faster and more measurable value.
“We are writing the playbook for how to be the most AI-enabled, client-focused professional services company in the world,” Julie said during the Q3 FY25 earnings call.
The term “reinvention” reflects Accenture’s belief that clients are no longer seeking incremental improvements—they want end-to-end transformation powered by generative AI, data, and cloud technologies.
Accenture Leadership and Organizational Changes
The new Reinvention Services unit will be led by Manish Sharma, currently CEO of Accenture Americas, who will assume the newly created role of Chief Services Officer. Other leadership changes include:
- Muqsit Ashraf continuing as Group Chief Executive—Strategy
- Jason Dess taking over as Group Chief Executive—Consulting
- Ndidi Oteh leading Song globally
- Rajendra Prasad becoming Group Chief Executive—Technology and CTO
These changes are aimed at streamlining decision-making, accelerating innovation, and embedding AI across all service lines.
AI at the Core: From Vision to Execution
Accenture’s reorganization comes amid a broader push to double down on AI investments.
In Q3 FY25 alone, the company secured $1.5 billion in generative AI bookings.
This brought the year-to-date total to $1.8 billion, highlighting the rapid momentum behind its AI initiatives.
Examples of AI-powered reinvention projects include:
- An AI-powered ship for Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri that can predict maintenance and manage energy autonomously
- 3D AI-generated avatars for Nestlé’s coffee brands to streamline marketing
- A digital transformation initiative for Brazilian mining giant Vale to expedite environmental permits
These projects illustrate how Accenture is embedding AI into product design, operations, and customer engagement.
