Apple has given a deadline for employees to return to office

Apple Inc. has given a deadline of September 5 for employees to return to office. The company is marking a key test of whether the tech giant can reestablish office life.

The company is working on a plan to work at least three days a week. After Covid-19 the company faced a lot of delays in its plans and made several attempts to make its return policy implemented.

The company, which told its employees of the new plan on Monday, will require employees to work from the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and a regular third day that will be determined by individual teams.

Earlier, The return-to-work policy was originally scheduled to go into effect on May 23, 2022 and Employees were supposed to work from the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays beginning next week. later, Apple informed the employees that it is delaying the return to office plan for “the time being” without any new timeframe for commencing a three-day workweek plan.

Previously, the company also reportedly said masks are once again required in common areas. It was not the first time Apple has delayed the return-to-office plans. It was eventually delayed also in January, then February, then again with a target date set for May.

Previously, Employees have raised the concern that the office return ignored the lack of a vaccine for young children. Apple employees have been working remotely throughout the coronavirus pandemic, and like other major employers, the company has repeatedly postponed and reconfigured its return-to-work plans.

Apple has corporate offices across the world, including in Silicon Valley, London and Japan. In the U.S., it has offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin, Boulder, New York, and Miami.
