PSI India offers 2-paid menstrual leave to women each month

PSI India, the social enterprise and healthcare products company offers 2-paid menstrual leave to women each month.

In a statement, the company said, “A PSI workplace is a space where we come to expect, equality, dignity, and respect. We work in a sector that caters to millions of women. PSI not only understands the hardships of a woman but also supports them in every way possible.”

“As an organization, we understand women are biologically different than men. The differences also mean their workplace demands and needs are different.” It added.

PSi said, “Our intention is to signal that in addition to PATERNITY LEAVE, CHILD CARE, REMOTE WORK, we will also be accommodating MENSTRUAL LEAVES.”

“Women around us have helped us understand that the days of menstruation each month are not an easy time for every woman. Acknowledging this problem, all our female employees will be given 2 DAYS PAID LEAVE each month to avail as per their need.” It added.
