AICTE, in partnership with Lion Services Limited, has announced a six-month full-time Social Media Internship program, offering young professionals an opportunity to work on one of Coimbatore’s major urban development projects.
The company is currently managing the Operation and Maintenance of seven lakes under the Coimbatore Smart City Mission, and through this internship, candidates will gain hands-on experience in managing digital communication and public engagement for large-scale civic projects.
The internship will be based in Coimbatore, Erode, and Tiruppur, with selected interns expected to join immediately. The program runs for six months, and interns will receive a stipend of ₹10,000 per month. Applications are open until December 31, 2025.
About the Program
The initiative focuses on enhancing public spaces around the seven lakes developed under the Smart City project.
Interns will be directly involved in social media management, content creation, and event organization, helping to spread awareness about lake conservation and development activities.
The program also includes responsibilities such as planning and executing digital campaigns, engaging with the public during large community events, and supporting the promotion of eco-friendly practices.
