Granules India gets Sucharita Rao Palepu as non-exe independent director

Granules India Limited, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company, today announced the appointment of Mrs. Sucharita Rao Palepu as Non-executive Independent Director on the Board of the Company with immediate effect.

Sucharita brings with her a rich and varied experience of two decades in Information Technology and Financial Services. She is currently a Strategic Advisor specializing in Organization & HR Transformation initiatives, prior to which, she was Global Head- Human Resources at Tech Mahindra Ltd.

Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman & Managing Director of Granules India Limited said, “Further strengthening the Board of Directors, we welcome Sucharita as non-executive Independent Director. Her experience in Organization & HR Transformation initiatives and commercial orientation will be an added asset for us”.

Over her career, Sucharita was instrumental in initiating several significant transformation programs and large-scale HR interventions, with a proven track record of delivering successful change in a global, diverse, multi-cultural, and complex environment.

With a strong commercial orientation, she is known for bringing about pioneering changes across various initiatives.

She was awarded Exemplary Woman in Leader Award (APAC) in HR Branding Awards 2015-16 and Women Super Achievers Award in HR Branding Awards 2009-10.
