Wipro launches AI-Powered Innovation Network and Bengaluru Lab

Wipro Limited, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has launched its global Wipro Innovation Network, aimed at accelerating client-centric co-innovation.

The initiative will leverage frontier technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, and Robotics, to solve complex industry challenges.

As part of this strategic move, Wipro has also inaugurated a state-of-the-art 60,000 sq. ft. Innovation Lab at its Kodathi campus in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to AI-driven transformation.

Wipro Innovation Network: A New Era of Co-Innovation

The Wipro Innovation Network is designed to bring together global clients, partners, academia, and tech communities to foster collaborative innovation.

The network will focus on five strategic frontier technology themes:

  1. Agentic AI – AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making.
  2. Robotics with Embodied AI – AI-driven robotics for industrial applications.
  3. Quantum Computing – Advanced computing solutions for complex problem-solving.
  4. Digital Ledger Technology – Secure and transparent blockchain-based solutions.
  5. Quantum-Safe Cyber Resilience – Cybersecurity measures designed to withstand quantum threats.

The initiative integrates Wipro’s extensive innovation ecosystem, including:

  • Innovation Labs and Partner Labs for research and development.
  • Wipro Ventures, supporting startups and emerging technologies.
  • Topcoder, Wipro’s crowdsourcing platform for tech talent.
  • Academic and research alliances, fostering knowledge exchange.

Wipro’s AI-Powered Innovation Lab in Bengaluru

As part of the Innovation Network launch, Wipro has opened its first-of-its-kind Innovation Lab at its Kodathi campus in Bengaluru.

This 60,000 sq. ft. facility will serve as a hub for clients to explore AI-driven solutions and prototype new technologies.

The Innovation Lab will provide immersive experiences, allowing clients to engage with Wipro’s experts through workshops and collaborative sessions.

Some of the advanced solutions showcased at the lab include:

  • Agentic AI systems for software engineering.
  • Smart Factories powered by embodied AI.
  • Cloud Car technology for connected vehicles.
  • Inspect AI for automated quality control.
  • Wealth AI and Earnings AI for financial analytics.
  • Quantum computing applications for drug discovery.

Leadership Insights on the Innovation Network

Wipro’s leadership has emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving innovation. Srini Pallia, CEO and Managing Director of Wipro Limited.

He stated, “The Wipro Innovation Network is a catalyst for AI-powered co-innovation.”

Srini added, “By bringing together our global clients, partners, academia, and tech communities, we aim to accelerate innovation that solves real-world challenges, unlocks bold new possibilities, and drives competitive edge for our clients.”

Sandhya Arun, Chief Technology Officer of Wipro Limited, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the role of the Innovation Labs.
