Livspace, a leading home interiors and renovation brand, has adopted an agentic AI recruitment intelligence platform to overhaul its hiring processes, resulting in a 30–35% reduction in cost per hire.

The company reports that hiring cycles are now 40% faster, with senior roles being filled in just 15–20 days compared to the earlier 45-day average.

The AI-led transformation comes as Livspace scales its operations and seeks talent across diverse functions—from mass hiring for execution roles to strategic appointments in leadership.

The platform integrates seamlessly with Livspace’s existing systems and was operational within two weeks, covering over 750 open positions.

Addressing Hiring Bottlenecks with Automation

Before adopting AI, Livspace faced challenges in sourcing and screening candidates manually, which slowed down recruitment and increased dependency on external agencies.

Specialized roles such as head of design and regional sales heads were particularly difficult to close due to lengthy evaluation cycles and limited visibility into candidate fit.

The new AI platform automates resume screening, candidate matching, and evaluation workflows.

It also provides real-time transparency for hiring managers and recruiters, enabling faster decision-making and reducing the need for manual interventions.

Tanushree Ray, Head of People & Culture at Livspace, noted, “From reducing our time-to-hire by half to improving cultural fit, the adoption of AI has made our recruitment function more strategic and scalable”.

Livspace Improved Cultural Fit and Lower Attrition

Beyond speed and cost, Livspace has seen qualitative improvements in hiring outcomes.

The AI system enhances applicant-role alignment, leading to a 20% improvement in cultural fit.

This has contributed to lower attrition rates, especially in roles where retention is critical to project continuity and customer satisfaction.

The platform’s ability to assess soft skills and match candidates to team dynamics has helped Livspace build more cohesive units across geographies.

These improvements are particularly valuable as the company expands into new markets and scales its delivery capabilities.

Strategic Impact on HR and Business Growth

Livspace views the AI platform not just as a tool but as a long-term talent intelligence partner.

The shift allows HR teams to focus on strategic initiatives rather than operational bottlenecks.

It also supports the company’s broader goals of agility, cost-efficiency, and workforce diversity.

The success of this deployment positions Livspace among a growing cohort of Indian firms using AI to modernize HR functions.

As competition for skilled talent intensifies, such investments are expected to become standard practice across industries.
