Google appoints Parangat Ranjan as People Partnering, APAC

Former Avon’s Head- HR (Director) – Malaysia, Taiwan & India, Parangat Ranjan has joined Google as People Partnering, APAC.

Parangat Ranjan confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position in People Partnering, APAC at Google!”

He will be based in India, as a part of the APAC level team which is headquartered in Singapore and will report to Saumya Mittal, Commercial APAC HR Lead for Google.

Parangat has led International & National roles, with business partnering across Corporate, Commercial Sales & Supply Chain teams. He has been based in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia & India with exposure to the Middle East & South-East/Asia Pacific geographies.

He has successfully delivered commercially driven transformation (Top-line & Bottom-line focused), Startup scale-up, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business entity transactions with Design thinking, People Coaching & Change management.

Before joining Avon, he also worked with Ola Electric, Mondelēz International & ITC Limited. He has worked in various ecosystems & business life stages from Startup scaling in EV, Food-tech & automotive space, Greenfield site set up in Bahrain, Culture transformation through Integrated Six Sigma, & Plant closure in complex terrain like Saudi Arabia. Coached EEMEA on High Performing Organizations.

He is an alumnus of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He did his M.B.A. (PGDM), in Human Resource Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
