Infosys Public Services appoints Lax Gopisetty as CEO

A U.S.-based subsidiary of Infosys, Infosys Public Services has appointed Lax Gopisetty as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Most Recently, he was Global Vice President – Business Applications & Digital Work Spaces at Infosys.

He confirmed the appointment on LinkedIn and said, “I am delighted to announce that I have assumed the CEO role at Infosys Public Services. Leading this esteemed organization is both a privilege and an honor.”

“I extend my gratitude to the existing leadership team for their exceptional work in driving technology-driven transformational initiatives within the public sector, and for entrusting me with the responsibility to lead the organization into the future”, he added.

“As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to harnessing the full potential of cloud, data, and AI. Our approach will be distinctly human-centric, emphasizing innovation and efficiency. We will foster agility through strategic partnerships and uphold a responsible ethos, rooted in a people-first culture with integrity and inclusivity”, the post concluded.

Lax Gopisetty has over 3 decades of experience transforming Public and Commercial enterprises with leading-edge technologies and creative business models.

He has successfully led and executed strategies for growth, innovation, and value creation in multiple markets and geographies, across various industries such as federal, state & local, healthcare, manufacturing, and insurance.

His earlier stints include working with leading organizations including Accenture, BearingPoint, IBM, and PwC.

Lax Gopisetty holds MBA, Executive Managment, and CIO Certification from George Mason University – Costello College of Business and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Osmania University.
