Technip Energies, a global leader in engineering and technology solutions, has onboarded 280 new trainees across India as part of its strategic workforce expansion.

The recruitment drive spans key locations including Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Dahej, and reflects the company’s commitment to building a future-ready talent pool to support both domestic and international projects.

This intake is part of Technip Energies’ broader initiative to strengthen its delivery capabilities and reinforce its position in the global energy transition.

The company has emphasized that these new hires will play a critical role in advancing its technological solutions and project execution across sectors such as LNG, hydrogen, and sustainable chemistry.

Gender Diversity Takes Center Stage at Technip Energies

A standout feature of this year’s onboarding is the strong representation of women, with around 60% of the new trainees being female.

This marks a significant step toward gender inclusivity in technical domains that have traditionally been male-dominated.

The company’s leadership has reiterated that diversity and inclusion are not just values but business priorities.

Judy Manjlekar, Director of People and Culture – India and APAC, stated, “Our commitment is not just to hiring talent but to shaping a workforce that mirrors the future we want to build—diverse, driven, and ready to lead.”

This approach aligns with Technip Energies’ global efforts to improve gender representation across all levels of the organization.

Campus Placements from Premier Institutions

The trainees were primarily recruited through campus placements at top engineering institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

This strategy underscores the company’s focus on tapping into high-potential talent from leading academic environments.

Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India, commented, “Building the right talent pool is our top priority.”

He added, “This new cohort of trainees will be the energy game-changers in strengthening our project delivery and technological solutions.”

Technip Energies Expansion and Infrastructure Growth

The onboarding comes at a time of significant expansion for Technip Energies in India.

The company recently inaugurated a new operating office at GIFT City in Ahmedabad and launched a Research & Innovation Centre at the IITM Research Park in Chennai.

These developments are expected to enhance both local capabilities and global project support.

Technip Energies is also establishing a Green H2 & Power-to-X Centre in Delhi, aimed at targeting the emerging market for green molecules and supporting post-market services.

These initiatives reflect the company’s long-term vision of contributing to India’s energy transition and sustainability goals.

Structured Learning and Industry-Academia Collaboration

Technip Energies continues to invest in structured learning programs for its new hires. It also fosters industry-academia collaborations to support their growth and development.

These efforts aim to nurture innovation and accelerate skill development. They also ensure that employees are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

The company’s emphasis on knowledge-sharing and continuous learning is central to its strategy of bridging prosperity with sustainability.

With over 4,600 employees in India, Technip Energies views the country as a critical hub for its global operations.
