In a groundbreaking move, Standard Chartered Bank, India, has launched a financial-assistance initiative aimed at supporting employees with physical disabilities.

This initiative marks a significant milestone within the Group, demonstrating the bank’s commitment to enhancing inclusivity and improving workforce participation among underrepresented talent groups.

The Initiative

The primary objective of this initiative is to empower individuals with disabilities (PwD) by providing them access to essential personal assistive devices (PADs). These devices include wheelchairs, prosthetics, and hearing aids.

As part of the program, employees with disabilities will have access to unlimited doctor consultations, ensuring their health and well-being.

The initiative also includes comprehensive hospitalization coverage, easing the financial burden for employees and their families during medical emergencies.
