Many employees face work culture struggle. Recently, for the first time, a video has been circulating by Twitter and LinkedIn users showing a heated conversation between employees at BYJU’s office.

Female staff can be heard saying in the video that I am screaming because I am going mad. The conversion is between a female employee and a senior official over an incentive-related issue.

Masroor Jahangir a LinkedIn user shared the post saying, “Disturbing Reports about BYJU’S Work Culture, Alarming reports have surfaced about the work culture at Byju’s, raising serious concerns among employees and customers alike. Complaints suggest that employees are facing a toxic and pressurized environment, with extended working hours of 12-14 hours a day, salary cuts, and feelings of being treated like commodities rather than valued team members.”

“This distressing situation extends to the customers, with some expressing doubts about the company’s business practices, including allegations of deceptive marketing and potential scams”, the post added.

“As a community, we must demand fair and humane treatment for employees and transparency in the company’s operations. Respecting the dignity and rights of every individual involved is crucial, both for the well-being of the employees and for fostering customer trust in the education sector”, the post further said.

“BYJU’S needs to address these concerns urgently and take decisive steps to ensure a respectful and ethical work environment. As professionals, let’s advocate for positive change and support workplaces that prioritize the welfare of their employees and customers”, the post concluded.

However, Sightsin Plus could not verify the authenticity of the video.

However, according to the reports of Money Control, The company has ruled out layoffs at tuition centres. Additionally, it has also agreed on paying incentives and variable pay.

The company conducted an emergency town hall meeting with over 5,000 Byju’s Tuition Centre (BTC) employees.
